Week 6- Texas A&M. 48-31 Win

Mississippi State will wear the DWS 100 uniforms in the top 15 game vs Texas A&M.  The Aggies will counter with an all-white uniform that resembles the snow bowl uniforms MSU wore in this match up two years ago.

Week 4- at LSU. 34-29 Win

In their SEC opener at LSU, the Bulldogs wore the DWS 100 throwbacks for the second time this year.  The throwbacks vs LSU's home whites made for a very good looking game.  With the big win, will the throwbacks become the go-to big game unis?  They already seem to be fan favorites.

Week 3- at South Alabama. 35-3 Win

In their first road game of the year, the Bulldogs will wear the matte maroon helmets with the white jerseys and white pants.  A sticker honoring the late Jack Cristil will be worn on the back of the helmet starting today for the rest of the year.

Side Note- South Alabama's game program seems to have used a Mississippi State Helmet rendering from the site.  It appears that they simply googled "Mississippi State Football Helmet", copied my rendering (below), flipped it, and made a few small edits of it.

Week 2- UAB. 47-34 Win

Mississippi State is hosting UAB today in game 2 of the season.  The Bulldogs are wearing their regular uniforms for the first time this season; the Shiny Maroon Helmets, the Maroon Jerseys, and the White Pants.  UAB is wearing the more interesting uniform; all white with a new Dragon and Gradient Helmet.

Week 1- Southern Miss. 49-0 Win

It's Gameday!!! This year, the Mississippi State Football Uniform Tracker (along with the Ole Miss and Southern Miss versions) will have a slightly updated presentation method.  There will be two images in each post: one will display the helmet match up for the game, with the date and time of the game, and the other will display the uniform combo worn by Mississippi State for the Game, also along with the date and time of the game.  The background texture is called "Letterpress".  I downloaded it from the CCSLC a few years back.

Change of Plans for Southern Miss game Uniforms

Football season is here!!! Mississippi State will open up the newly-renovated and expanded Davis Wade Stadium against Southern Miss tonight.  There actually is an interesting uniform-related story for tonight's game- and it seems to be an effect of Vanderbilt's unigate turbulence from Thursday Night.  As reported earlier- the Bulldogs were originally scheduled to wear these uniforms in tonight's game-

 

However, the NCAA's rules against slogans on uniforms have forced the Bulldogs to either take "HAIL STATE" off of the jersey or give up a timeout at the start of every quarter.  So now, the Bulldogs will take the field in these uniforms instead-

That is an upgrade, in my opinion; I never was a fan of "HAIL STATE" being on the front of the jersey.  Now, if the big, gray MSTATE logo isn't on the pants (unfortunately, it probably will be.), this will be a very good uniform.

Davis Wade Stadium 100th Anniversary Uniforms

Last week, Adidas unveiled special uniforms for the 100th Anniversary of Davis Wade Stadium.  To be worn in the season opener vs. Southern Miss, the uniforms are inspired by the late 1990's, early 2000's uniforms.  The new unis are on the left, and the 90s unis that inspired them are on the right.
