Concepts

Every once in a while, I like to do concepts, showing what I would like to see the Bulldogs wear, or sometimes, showing what others would like to see. Sometimes, I mock stuff up just to see what it would look like.  Today, I scourged my computer, finding concepts as old as June 2012 to post here in a compilation for anyone to see.  Many of the recent concepts were inspired by and spread via the @hailstateunis Twitter account.

 June 2016 Baseball:

Just an idea of what the main six uniforms for Mississippi State baseball should be.  Adding a few more alternates is fine, but these should be the main six and the only six considered to be worn in the postseason.

 October 2015 Football:

This concept demonstrated what the Bulldogs' uniforms could look like in 2015 if they removed the black outlines on the jerseys and added stripes to the pants.  It was inspired by the gray pants that were debuted vs. Troy, and also included an all-gray alternate that utilized those pants.

 July 2015 Football:

In this concept, I constructed an updated interlocking MSU logo using the custom "Starkville" font and put it on helmets, to be used on homecoming and road egg bowls.  Posted on the CCSLC and Behance.

June 2015 Football:

Shows how the DWS 100 unis should be perfected, along with other possible alternate color combinations.

June 2015 Basketball:

Main Concept is in top left, showing a return to the Bost-Era wordmark.  Below is the same jersey using the banner wordmark.  The rest is different color combinations of the 2015 fauxbacks.

January 2015 Football:
This concept showed what it might look like if Mississippi State switched to Nike. Full details here.

August 2014 Football:

This was my idea of a perfected ribbon stripe uniform.  The shoulder stripe ended in a ribbon, and a spaced out gray stripe was added, mimicking the helmet logo.

 August 2014 Baseball:
My 2014 baseball concept proposed a single font and an updated "1985" wordmark.

December 2013 Baseball:
My first attempt at unifying MSU's baseball uniforms.

September 2013 Football:
This concept proposed slightly changing the shoulder stripe and adding a white helmet.

November 2012 Football:
This photo-realistic concept extended the ribbon stripe to the sleeve, moved the numbers to the undershirt, and adopted the bulldog head helmet full-time.

June 2012 Football:
My first concept, designed before the Ribbon Stripe unis were announced, proposed traditional stripes on the sleeves, along with a straight throwback to Snow Bowl uniforms.  If you look closely, you'll notice that the home uniforms have "This is Our State" on the chest, which would have been legal at the time.
