2013 Egg Bowl Uniforms Unveiled

That video released yesterday was about the 2013 Egg Bowl Uniforms.  The third uniform in the Egg Bowl series, this will be the second maroon version.  This year's version drops the white outline around the numbers and moves the gold HAIL STATE wordmark from the back to the front of the jersey, replacing the big Mississippi State wordmark.  The numbers are in the same spot as they were last year, and a m-state logo has been added to the right chest.  A gold Mississippi State wordmark has been added to the pants.

There is still none of the striping from the regular uniforms on this year's egg bowl version.  That, along with the lack of an outline on the numbers, is one of the reasons I initially felt like this is a downgrade from the first two egg bowl jerseys.  Those didn't have any striping, either, but a helmet stripe and a shoulder stripe would certainly improve this uniform.  However, these have since grown on me and I have to say that they are probably my favorite of the three.
