2013 Season Reveiw

With the win in the Egg Bowl, the Bulldogs finished the season 6-6 and will play against Rice in the 55th AutoZone Liberty Bowl.  Tyler Russell and Nickoe Whitley have had surgery and will not play in the game.  However, you can expect Dak Prescott and Taveze Calhoun to take care of buisness.

Now, to the uniforms.  The most used combo was Shiny Maroon/ Maroon/ White.  It was worn 4 times, with a 2-2 record.

Worn 4 times
2-2 Record
Won vs. Alcorn State and Troy
Lost vs. LSU and Alabama

The maroon version of the Snow Bowl helmet was worn twice, with the Maroon jersey and White pants both times.

Worn 2 times
1-1 Record
Won vs. Kentucky
Lost vs. Oklahoma State

The matte helmets (my favorite helmets worn by MSU this year) were worn twice, with the White Jersey and White pants both times.

Worn 2 times
0-2 Record
Lost vs. Auburn and South Carolina

The Shiny Maroon helmet was worn twice on the road, once with the White pants and once with the Maroon pants.

Worn 1 time
1-0 Record
Won vs. Arkansas

Worn 1 time
0-1 Record
Lost vs. Texas A&M

The all-Maroon look was worn once- for homecoming.

Worn 1 time
1-0 Record
Won vs. Bowling Green

Special Adidas-designed uniforms were worn for the Egg Bowl victory over Ole Miss.

Worn 1 time
1-0 Record
Won vs. Ole Miss

So, the best home uniform to wear, winning percentage wise, is the all maroon or the Egg Bowl unis.  The best road combo to wear is Shiny Maroon/ White/ Maroon.

Not counting the Egg Bowl uniforms, 3 helmets different helmets were worn, 2 different jerseys were worn, and 2 different pants were worn.  This gives us only 18 different combinations, 19 counting the Egg Bowl uniforms.

For stats on each individual uniform element, look on "The 2013 Uniform" page.
